Challenge Grants

Through Detroit Public Television Challenge Grants you can show your dedication to this community! It is a very unique opportunity to bring your employees to our station and support what brings you Sesame Street, Nova, Antiques Roadshow and the many other programs that educate, inspire and enrich our lives everyday.

Your grant is used to match viewer pledges and creates a "challenge" enticing viewers to have their pledge doubled. A Challenge Grant is a rare opportunity for your company to achieve high visibility, promote team building, show your dedication as a devoted corporate citizen and HAVE FUN!

Your Company Receives:

Frequent mentions of your company by the on-air talent.
Two (2) live on-air Interviews with your designated corporate spokesperson.
Eight full screen exposures of your company name/logo.
Frequent on-air shots and exposure of your company's in-studio participants on the phones. Your employees may wear shirts, hats or buttons with your corporate name/logo.
Tours of the DPTV studios and production facilities for your in-studio participants.
One VHS copy of your testimonial and pledge breaks.
Food to keep you strong through all of those phone calls!

What to Bring:

Enthusiastic employees or volunteers. The DPTV studio can only hold 40 volunteers at a time. If you have more than 40 people interested, you can always have people work in two shifts. (Providing volunteers is optional.)

(NOTE: Most companies provide their participants with additional refreshments during the challenge. DPTV can provide catering suggestions.)
