Rosalie Sorrels: Way Out in Idaho
Rosalie SorrelsWith a sound that "cuts like a knife and purrs like a kitten," Rosalie Sorrels has become one of folk music's most enduring entertainers. She has released more than 20 albums, including 2004's Grammy-nominated My Last Go-Round. Both a singer and a storyteller, Rosalie's intimate style has helped revitalize American folk music. This special features a concert performance filmed in 2005 at Bruce Willis' renovated Liberty Theater in Hailey, Idaho. Included in the program are interviews with music legends Pete Seeger, Nanci Griffith, Jean Ritchie, Terry Garthwaite, Utah Phillips, and others.
