Television in America: An Autobiography "Andy Rooney"
Andy Rooney began his career reporting for Stars and Stripes during World War II, writing essays for Harry Reasoner (Essay on Doors) in CBS's early days and later, delivering his own essays on 60 Minutes. Rooney recalls an extraordinary late night call from CBS's fabled CEO, Larry Tisch. Rooney closes the interview with hilarious reflections on "reality TV" and serious ideas on the direction network news should take in the future.
