Sarah Khazem
Sarah Khazem and her family began their new lives in the United States on September 21, 2001. Sarah's parents made the move to the U.S. from Lebanon because they believed their family would have more opportunities to achieve their dreams here. Sarah aspires to become a photo journalist and believes that it is easier to find work after college in the U.S. She loves all the different kinds of chocolate in America and the education she is getting as a student at Fordson High School. Sarah grew up in Lebanon with a large, close family whom she misses more than anything else she had to leave behind. A large collection of home movies helps her remember the good times.
