Stella Afesumeh and Toyeeb Fuja
Stella Afesumeh and Toyeeb Fujah immigrated from Nigeria and both became naturalized citizens of the United States on March 17, 2004 at Cobo Hall in Detroit. Stella arrived here in 1997 and left Nigeria because she believed there were better opportunities in America. She misses her people, but enjoys the freedom in America. Toyeeb has been in America for 20 years. He loves the scenery and the diversity of American society, but misses his family and Nigerian food.
