JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to the Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services, through the Engineering Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to: operating a variety of television broadcast equipment; performing technical assignments as determined by supervisor; performing equipment maintenance in studio and remote locations; occasionally working without direct supervision; maintaining knowledge of current state-of-the-art broadcast technology through experience, observation and reading of trade press and technical journals; and performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum two (2) years experience in television broadcast operations
Experience and familiarity with television broadcast production equipment
Ability to work well with others in stressful environment
Commitment to constant improvement and high-quality results
FCC Commercial Radio Operator License or SBE certification preferred
Valid State of Michigan Driver License and willingness to use personal vehicle for company business
Ability to accept scheduled assignments with various hours throughout a 7-day week
